Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how ChemLifeIntel uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in the Terminal, the categories we rely on, and how you can manage your preferences.

Last updated: 18 June 2026

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixels; in this policy we refer to them collectively as “cookies”. Cookies may be set by us (first-party) or by service providers acting on our behalf (third-party).

Categories We Use

  • Strictly necessary — required to operate the service, keep you signed in, balance load and protect security. These cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.
  • Analytics — we use PostHog product analytics to understand which features are used and where users encounter friction, so we can improve the platform. This data is used in aggregate, not to build advertising profiles.
  • Preferences — remember choices such as display settings so the experience is consistent across visits.

Managing Cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block cookies or alert you when one is set. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the service from working. For instructions specific to your browser, consult its help pages. Where we rely on consent for non-essential cookies, you may withdraw it at any time using the controls provided.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by trusted service providers that help us deliver and measure the service, such as our analytics provider. These providers process data under their own terms and our data-processing arrangements. See our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for details on how we govern third-party processing.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. You can still control cookies using the browser controls and consent mechanisms described above.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or applicable law evolve. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. This document is a template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before you rely on it.
