About ChemLifeIntel
ChemLifeIntel turns the public record into decision-grade intelligence for the people who move the global chemical and life sciences industry — operators, dealmakers, regulators-watchers and investors.
Our Mission
The chemical and life sciences value chain generates an enormous stream of consequential, public signals every day — enforcement actions, import-export filings, pricing moves, approvals and trial readouts — scattered across hundreds of regulators, registries and disclosure systems in dozens of languages. Almost none of it is connected, and almost all of it is too slow to reach the people who need it.
Our mission is to close that gap: to make every material event in the industry findable, contextual and actionable within hours of becoming public, so a decision that used to take a week of manual research takes a single search.
What We Do
We continuously track four categories of events across the value chain — regulatory enforcement (warning letters, import alerts, inspection outcomes), trade flows (import-export movements and HSN-level shipment intelligence), market moves (pricing, capacity, M&A and supply disruptions) and clinical milestones (approvals, designations and trial events).
Each event is extracted from official sources, attached to the relevant entities in our knowledge graph, and published as an analyst-written brief. Today the platform spans 8,000+ entities — including 1,200+ companies, 5,500+ molecules and 1,200+ facilities — and the regulators that govern them, with 900+ intelligence briefs and counting.
How We're Different
We are not an aggregator and we do not republish third-party reporting. Three principles set us apart:
- Named analyst bylines. Every brief carries a real analyst's name and judgement — not an anonymous feed. You can read the analysts behind the coverage on our analyst team page.
- Knowledge-graph context. Each event is linked to every entity it touches, so a single warning letter is instantly readable against a facility's history, a company's portfolio and a molecule's supply base.
- Public-record sourcing. We build only from official, citable sources and extract non-copyrightable facts — never scraped opinion or paywalled reporting.
Our Coverage
Our knowledge graph is anchored on the entities that matter most to the industry:
- 1,200+ companies — manufacturers, formulators, distributors and CDMOs
- 5,500+ molecules and products, with CAS, UNII and InChIKey identifiers
- 1,200+ facilities — plants and sites tracked by FEI and location
- Global regulatory coverage spanning the agencies that govern the value chain
Editorial Independence
Our coverage is editorially independent of any company we track. We publish what the public record shows, regardless of commercial relationships, and we disclose exactly how we source, extract and review every brief. Read the full process — including our AI-usage disclosure and correction policy — in our methodology.
Careers
We're a small, deliberate team of analysts and engineers building the definitive intelligence layer for the industry. If that sounds like your kind of problem, see how we work and what we look for on our careers page.
