Accessibility Statement

ChemLifeIntel is committed to making our intelligence platform usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. This statement describes our approach, the measures we take, and how to reach us with feedback.

Last updated: 18 June 2026

Our Commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of how we design and build the product, not a one-time exercise, and we work to ensure our content is perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for the widest possible range of users.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML — pages are server-rendered with meaningful structure, headings and landmarks so the content is navigable and machine-readable.
  • Keyboard navigation — interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard, with visible focus states.
  • Reduced-motion support — we respect the operating-system “reduce motion” preference and limit non-essential animation accordingly.
  • Colour contrast — we design text and UI elements to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Text alternatives and labels — we provide descriptive labels for controls and alternatives for meaningful non-text content.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully meet our target. Data-dense visualisations, embedded third-party content, and legacy material may present accessibility challenges. We track known issues and prioritise fixes in our ongoing development. If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please let us know so we can address it.

Feedback & Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of ChemLifeIntel. If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the service, or need information provided in an alternative format, contact our compliance team at compliance@chemlifeintel.com. Please include the page address and a description of the problem so we can respond effectively.

Assessment Approach

We assess accessibility through a combination of automated testing, manual keyboard and screen-reader checks, and review against the WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria during development. We treat accessibility regressions as defects and aim to resolve reported issues promptly. This statement is a template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel against your specific obligations before you rely on it.

Date of Statement

This statement was last reviewed and updated on 18 June 2026. We review it periodically and whenever significant changes are made to the service.
